Hello friends, it’s October!!

This past weekend, we had a winter storm watch. At first, I wasn’t particularly excited, mostly because the leaves had just begun to change color, and I know that Colorado snow can de-leave trees in an instant. However, this storm turned out to be one of the most beautiful sights I have ever witnessed! The snow started falling, and I started snapping photos…

My walk through campus was awe inspiring. The bright colored leaves popped through the snow blanket, and throughout the whole morning it snowed so peacefully. I had to keep track of time so that I didn’t miss my classes, I was so happy taking pictures!

And of course, as Colorado is known for, by about 1pm the snow had stopped and the sun had come out!

It was crazy how fast the snow on the trees began to melt, but it created more and more of a gorgeous sight as all of the colors of the trees began to pop back out, and the blue skies returned. We were back to regular fall weather!

It was certainly magical, so I thought I would share my photos with you all so you could have some of the magic as well! : ) Do you have a favorite season? I’m pretty much in love with all of them for different reasons…
